BUTUAN CITY- Nasikop sa kapolisan ug mga kaubang ahensiya ang mga ekipo sa pagmina ug mga gamit nga may kalabotan sa ilegal nga pagmina nga mokabat sa P153.343 milyon, ug nasikop ang 18 ka indibidwal, lakip ang walo ka Chinese nationals, atol sa operasyon sa Barangay Mabilin, Surigao City niadtong Oktubre 14, 2026.
Sumala sa Police Regional Office 13 kon PRO-13, nahimo ang operasyon isip kabahin sa padayong kampanya batok sa ilegal nga pagmina, pinaagi sa koordinasyon sa Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR), Mines and Geosciences Bureau (MGB) Caraga, ug nagkadaiyang yunit sa Philippine National Police ug Armed Forces of the Philippines.

Sa pagkakaron, gipabilin sa Surigao City Police Station ang mga dinakpan alang sa hustong legal nga proseso, samtang ang mga nakumpiskar nga bug-at nga ekipo ug mga gamit sa pagmina anaa na sa kustodiya sa MGB Caraga.
Gipasalig ni Suguilon nga ipadayon sa kapolisan ang tanang legal nga lakang aron mapanagot sa balaod ang mga responsable sa dinagkong operasyon sa ilegal nga pagmina.

1. Alias “Chow,” 53, male, married, and a resident of Hunan, China;
2. Alias “Chao,” 58, male, married, and a resident of Hunan, China;
3. Alias “Yong,” 53, male, married, and a resident of Gansu, China;
4. Alias “Wen,” 52, male, married, and a resident of Longnan City, Gansu, China;
5. Alias “Hao,” 39, male, married, and a resident of Junkok, Hunan, China;
6. Alias “Long,” 51, male, married, and a resident of Junkok, Hunan, China;
7. Alias “Wan,” 33, male, single, and a resident of Guangzhou, China; and
8. Alias “Tsua Peng”, 53, male, married, and a resident of Junko, Hunan, China.
Meanwhile, the other arrested individuals were identified as:
1. Alias “Mike,” 35, male, with live-in partner, backhoe operator, and a resident of Barangay Diplo, Umalarang, Zamboanga del Sur;
2. Alias “John,” 29, male, single, backhoe operator, and a resident of Bag-ong Dalan, Zamboanga City;
3. Alias “Gani,” 46, male, married, backhoe operator, and a resident of Malagos, Davao City;
4. Alias “Jof,” 26, male, single, backhoe operator, and a resident of Baguio District, Davao City;
5. Alias “Anton,” 45, male, married, backhoe operator, and a resident of Surigao City;
6. Alias “Chan,” 27, male, married, backhoe operator, and a resident of, Surigao City;
7. Alias “Mar,” 26, male, single, backhoe operator, and a resident of Montevista, Davao de Oro;
8. Alias “Sun,” 27, male, married, payloader operator, and a resident of Surigao City;
9. Alias “Chel,” 38, single, and a resident of Surigao City; and
10. Alias “Jose,” 56, male, married, dump truck driver, and a resident Claver, Surigao del Norte.

p. Armscor shotgun, Model 3; and
q. 12 rounds of live shotgun ammunition.
