BUTUAN CITY – A drug buy-bust operation conducted past 11:55 PM on Saturday, February 28, in Purok 3-B, Brgy. Taguibo, Butuan City, led to the seizure of 70 grams of suspected shabu worth ₱476,000.
The illegal drugs were recovered from the possession of a high-value individual, known by the alias “Jojo,” a 28-year-old male. He is currently under the custody of the City Drug Enforcement Unit (CDEU) of the Butuan City Police Office, where the seized drugs will be processed as evidence for the case to be filed against him.
Authorities revealed that the suspect was previously arrested in September 2016 for his involvement in illegal drugs.
