BUTUAN CITY –A Bao-Bao driver in Hinatuan, Surigao del Sur has caught public attention for his unique and practical approach to earning a living.

Known locally as Algie Enriquez, he operates a “Bao-Bao” (a type of three-wheeled vehicle) that not only ferries passengers but also doubles as a mobile sari-sari store.

In an exclusive message to Bombo Radyo Butuan, Enriquez expressed pride in his work, saying his creative setup allows him to sell goods to his passengers during trips, helping them avoid the need to stop just to make purchases.

Enriquez explained that the idea was born out of the need to provide extra convenience for his passengers while also boosting his income.

“This is my way to help my passengers save time while also earning a bit more for my family,” he said.
