BUTUAN CITY- The Butuan City Police Office, under the leadership of PCOL Rommel D. Villamor, successfully conducted a two-day Simultaneous Anti-Criminality Law Enforcement Operation (SACLEO) on February 13 and 14, 2025, leading to the arrest of five individuals involved in illegal drug activities across the city.

The operation resulted in the seizure of illegal drugs and the apprehension of suspects from different barangays.

On February 13, Ed, alias “Atot,” a 20-year-old street-level individual, was arrested at 1:37 AM in P-6 Sitio Taganahao, Brgy. San Mateo, with one gram of suspected shabu valued at Php 6,800.00. Later that day, at 9:58 PM, Al, alias “Tempered,” a 23-year-old newly identified street-level individual, was caught in Purok 5, Brgy. Buhangin, with the same amount and value of suspected shabu.

On February 14, three individuals—Ric, a street-level individual; Ariel, a high-value target; and Gel, a street-level individual—were arrested at 1:53 AM in Purok 7, Brgy. Limaha, following a buy-bust operation.

All of them were found with suspected shabu valued at Php 13,600.00.

PCOL Villamor praised the efforts of the Butuan City Police, stating that the operation reflects their commitment to addressing drug-related crime. He emphasized that they will continue to ensure the safety of the community by holding accountable those involved in illegal activities.

The arrested individuals and confiscated items are now under police custody for proper legal action.
