BUTUAN CITY – Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) chief Nicolas Torre III was among the 39 police officers promoted on Monday, April 7.
President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. officiated the oath-taking ceremony for the 39 Philippine National Police (PNP) officers at the Ceremonial Hall in Malacañang.
According to Malacañang, of the 39 PNP officers, four were promoted to Police Lieutenant Generals, 11 to Police Major Generals, and 24 to Police Brigadier Generals.
Torre was among those promoted from Police Brigadier General to Police Major General. He attended the oath-taking ceremony with his family.
