BUTUAN CITY – The China Coast Guard vessel 3302, which had previously shadowed the Philippine Coast Guard’s BRP Cabra on Sunday, attempted to ram the smaller vessel again on Monday, according to video footage released by the PCG.
The incident occurred 98.31 nautical miles off Palauig Point, Tumalog City, Zambales, where the CCG vessel made multiple dangerous maneuvers to strike the BRP Cabra.
In response, the China Coast Guard deployed a faster vessel, CCG-21612, to continue the aggressive tactics. Despite the intimidation, the PCG maintained control through superior maneuverability, professionalism, and seamanship, successfully evading the ramming attempts.
The BRP Cabra remained resolute in shadowing and challenging the Chinese vessel, demonstrating unwavering determination in the face of the aggressive actions.
