BUTUAN CITY – Mu-abot sa 500-milyones pisos nga antidad sa mga smuggled cigarettes ang nakumpiska sa Bureau of Customs (BOC) sa may Customs Intelligence and Investigation Service-Manila International Container Port atol sa gihimong raid sa mga bodega sa Bulacan.
Sa inspeksiyon, nadiskubrehan usab sa BOC ang may P5 bilyones nga kantidad sa mga copyright infringing items, sama sa mga devices, garments, ug gadgets.
Mil-abot sa 19 ka mga bodega sa Green Miles Compound, sa Sitio Cabatuhan, Brgy. Camalig sa Meycauayan City, Bulacan ang gironda.
Giklaro ni BOC Commissioner Bien Rubio ang kamahinungdanon sa pagsiguro sa luwas nga mga tobacco products nga gipamaligya sa mga domestic markets apil na ang proteksiyon sa intellectual property rights (IPR).
