BUTUAN CITY – Bombo Radyo Iloilo was named Best Newscast – Provincial at the 28th KBP Golden Dove Awards, held Thursday, June 26, celebrating the country’s best in radio and television broadcasting.
Bombo Radyo Philippines also secured nine finalist placements across major categories, reaffirming its reputation for excellence in journalism, public service, and creative programming.

- Best Newscast – National: Bombo Network News (BNN)
- Best AM Station – Provincial: Bombo Radyo Iloilo
- Best Newscast – Provincial: Bombo Radyo Iloilo (Winner)
- Best FM Station – Metro Manila: Star FM Manila
- Best Special Program: Star FM Manila and Bombo Radyo Cauayan
- Best Culture and the Arts Program: Bombo Radyo Iloilo
- Best Science and Technology Program: Bombo Radyo Iloilo
- Best Sports Program: Star FM Baguio
The annual awards, organized by the Kapisanan ng mga Brodkaster ng Pilipinas (KBP), celebrate excellence in public service, ethical journalism, and creative broadcasting across the Philippine media industry.
